I have just booked up for the Sunday tracktime novice. I have been on a few experience track days and a drifting day so I do not really have a clue.

Ah, the hangover session

Are you coming for the whole weekend? If I understand correctly, your driver's armband will double up as a passenger armband for any of the sessions. If you want a chance to see how not to drive the track, then I'll be out saturday afternoon :)

I've seen anything about the arrangements for the armbands. Last year they came out by post, but all application forms included an SAE. I can't see why we'd need to have them in advance though. You still have sign in on the day.

I'll be heading over on the friday this time.

If you want to drive, or be a passenger you will need either a second or a third wrist band. The one that comes in the post just signifies you have paid for what ever you are doing. You will need a second band from us to say you have signed an indemnity, (passenger) and a third one that you have attended the briefing (driver)

This is only a few weeks away. There's been a lot of effort put in to providing a OC event where polishing is not the main event. Nick's undoubtedly gone above and beyond what's required to make sure that this thing is fun for everyone.

It would be useful to know who's going, so that an appropriate amount of space can be set-aside for a P5 area. That, and we can start figuring out who's bringing the BBQ.

Now that I have some spare funds to book a novice session... they are all sold out... :(

Might still come just for the social though.

Shame, I thought that might happen ... still not sure if my car will be sorted by then anyway, so wasn't worth the gamble for me.

You might find some people don't turn up o the day, or pull out a week or so before.

We can do you a hour on track at Blyton for £30 on any of our events.

There's a few track tickets that have become available for this, if anyone's interested. http://store.mx5oc.co.uk/tickets--events-29-c.asp

Cheers for the heads up. It wouldn't let me purchase an entry to novice on Saturday so I had to take a novice place on Sunday.

Better than nowt tho!

This may be a stupid question. But where do I pay for the camping? I followed that link Stuart put up and all it lists it the track time and BBQ and a dinner for later in the year

So I can pay for track time but have no idea if I'm even allowed into the show?

Camping is free (well the OC is paying for it, and not charging members, guests or non-members). Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend. Even you are allowed in :)
