Bedford GT 21st March

Where MoT stuff is bigged up !

Bedford GT 21st March

Postby NickD » Thu Mar 10, 2011 2:49 pm

Dear All,

Long story for another day. However Bedford on the 21st is back on.

We need 86 people at £99 to come and play and to pay up quickly too.

Bedford is a great track and £99 is exceptionally good, it's cost price!

It is only 101dB though with 87.5 drive by. It's not too quiet, but not too loud either.

Please come and also encorage and tell everyone else that you know, no mater what car.

What a great day. The sun was shining, everyone was well behaved and the day went really well.

Just a pity about my alternator...

How much driving did you get in before it broke down?

Till about 3pm, then the alternator casting broke. I mean seriously, how does this happen, the bit that the bolt goes through is physically detached from the rest of the alternator, it's a clean break.

i told you that you'd be alright.

Was that the same alternator that you were buggering about with the day before

Another perfect MoT day, the usual excellent and considerate driving standards were upheld by practically everyone (Black S/C Lotus aside)

Well done Nick, sheryl really enjoyed herself and improved no end due to Steve's tuition.

He was excellent. The cheapest and best performance mod going! Upgrade yourself!

On the topic of my alternator, yes, I had to tighten the pivot bolt up the other day. Perhaps the vibration of it being loose caused it to fatigue. We'll know when I get chance to remove it. I was about a mile from home and the dash reset, must have only just made it back!

Nick,

Who was the fella taking pictures @ Bedford, is there a link where we can view and possibly purchase?
