CROFT TRACKDAY

We have another Croft trackday planned for the 19th October, it will be run as the last one only this time we home Jon Smith will decide to woo a lady by buying flowers in the time honoured fashion rather than parking in them.

Croft is a fantastic circuit and one of my very very favourites. We will only have 30 cars in total for the whole day and only 10 on track at once so this is a fantastic opportunity for all levels, beginner through to expert to come and drive this proper, grown up circuit.

Croft has suffered from noise restrictions in recent years and so this is a "Quiet" day and cars must be under 88dB static. A standard car with standard exhaust will be about 83dB and while it does not seem a lot more 88dB is well over double the perceived sound of the standard car. Most turbo cars will fall within this limit as well.

Typically because of the restrictions at Croft a normal track day costs around £250 per car but because this is a quiet day, the cost is a bargain at £149 for the whole day. Add that to the 30 car limit and so huge amount of track time it truly is a bargain.

The day will start in sessions and we will have a beginners group where free tuition will be available but we will move to open pit lane, still only 10 cars on track, as soon as we feel everyone is comfortable with the track and situation.

Currently this day is being held by Croft for us, however it will not be confirmed until such time as we have 20 cars booked. The link above takes you to the booking page where either a £50 deposit or the full fee can be paid. All money will be returned promptly in full if we do not have 20 cars booked by the 19th September. Obviously it stands to reason that if you use the mentality of "I will wait to see if the day is going ahead before I book" then the likelihood is that it won't go ahead as everyone will be waiting for everyone else to book.
