What happened, how did you get on, did you enjoy it?

All the details from this race you told us you were entering earlier in the year. :D

You must have video too.

I'm not spilling many details ... 2 down, 1 to go. I'll be honest I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it ... possibly partly the FWD? Yes I have video, and no I'm not showing it to anyone. This is a personal journey for me and won't be shared, sorry :thumb:

Just thought I ought to add some context behind this ... over the past few years I've spent more and more time on the net, keeping up with 5 or 6 forums, various build threads and all the Project M development threads etc. It had got to the point that I was changing my plans to keep "the collective" happy, rather than doing what I personally want.

So I'm aiming to spend a bit less time on the forums and keep more to myself ... which should mean I achieve more and change my plans less!!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you send the wall across the field once you've hit it.

I am lost?!

So you are worried about sharing something we would all be interested in?

It's not complicated, it's just not what I want to spend my time doing. There are lots of things that we all do that possibly others of us might be interested in, we don't have to post it all on a website though.

That's part of it too ... I was up to about 1400 friends on FB at one point, then over the last few months I've decided to keep my life a bit more personal so I've slimmed it down to more like 70. Hopefully they are all people I actually know though!

wouldn't it have been easier to say, "it went ok, came 8th out of 21, blah blah. here's a video"

and anyway, as your 'local' group, surely we are your preferred group. i can understand trimming down your FB and general web presence, but P5 is surely your personal interest as opposed to a general commercial presence.

It just comes across as a bit rude to stonewall us on this single issue, when we had discussed it in some length at a meet and it was being followed up out of general interest; yet you still update the green car thread with un-specific 'i'll get round to it' type updates (as ever was the case)

I said at the time that I didn't want to talk about it generally, only a couple of you were pressing me so I said a bit more. I think it was obvious at the time that I regretted it ( you made a comment about me muddying my tracks when I changed tack) and I said very clearly that I didn't want to talk about it on the forum. To be honest I think it's rude for the subject to be brought up at all when I asked for it not to be. I'm not going to say any more on the matter.
