When do you need to know by? Really need to give the car a good check over at the weekend. Don't think it's been on the road since december.

Erm, as soon as you can really. I know it is short notice, however that is the Ring this year, being a bit of a pain I am afraid.

Lovely circuit but scared the bejaysus out of me.
There is a seam in the tarmac on the exit of Druids that had the back twitching every lap (it was very wet).
Think I need some of them there car control lessons...

Oulton is a very special track. We did it a couple of years ago. Probably the best day I've ever had in a car and the course instructor, Ray, was phenomenal.

Not my car, but one of my favourite pictures from the day. It was actually a really nice day, we just had a twenty minute downpour just before lunch.

Cascades scared me more. Was nearly the cause of 2 personal red-flag moments*.

* or bad driving / late breaking / being nowhere near the right turn-in point.

It peed it down for half the morning. So I attempted to learn how to drive without sliding. Then it dried off in the afternoon and left dry patches to show the right lines.

Where about on the track was that photo taken? The markings on the road make me think either start/finish or car park.

Wouldn't that involve driving on the grass? If so, I don't recommend it. Ended up facing the wrong way doing that, to be greeted by a white mk2 coming down the hill....

Of the tracks that I've been to, this was probably the most difficult to learn the basic layout. But it's definitely got the most fun chicane I've driven through so far.
